We are thrilled to share some wonderful news with you! The International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA) is proud to officially announce the appointment of eight exceptional individuals to our Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 term. Though these dedicated leaders began their terms in September 2024, we are delighted to take this moment to celebrate their contributions and introduce them to our community.
Over the past months, our new board members have been hard at work, bringing their diverse expertise, insights, and passion to support IMTA’s mission of advancing the mindfulness teaching profession. Their efforts have been instrumental in ensuring our organization continues to meet the highest standards of excellence, depth, and rigor—enabling us to better serve mindfulness teachers and students worldwide.
Tiffany Jackson, our Executive Director, shared her enthusiasm for this exceptional group:
“We are excited to expand our board with eight new members who bring diverse expertise and insight to the organization and the community it serves. They will be joining Dawa Tarchin Phillips, President/Founder, who will continue to serve, and Diana Winston, Founder, who will serve in the capacity of Board Member Emeritus. We have worked diligently to ensure the new board represents a variety of expertise and backgrounds to address the needs of our members and ensure the success of the organization.”
It is our honor to introduce the eight incredible individuals who have joined IMTA’s Board of Directors.
We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and passion our new board members have already demonstrated. Together, we look forward to advancing the mindfulness teaching profession and enriching the lives of all those we serve.
Warm regards,
Tiffany A. Jackson CAE, CQIA
